TSS STEFAN BATORY - Polish Transatlantic Liner (built in 1952 under name of TSS MAASDAM for Holland America Line) purchased from Holland in 1968 as a replacement for the legendary MS BATORY (1939/71). The ship was renamed & refitted to become the flagship of  the Polish Ocean Lines in 70's & 80's. It was the last regularly scheduled transatlantic liner, that remained in service till 1988...  

Turbine Steam Ship (TSS), 776 Passengers, 340 Crew, 16 000 Tons,
17 Knots Max Speed, Scrapped in Aliaga -Turkey in May 2000.
